A single lottery ticket has the ability to change one’s life for the better in an instance. That has been the case with Abbotsford lottery player as she finds out during a family lunch that she has won CA$1 million. After checking her Lotto 6/49 she discovers that she is the winner of the guaranteed prize that brings her the hefty reward.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation is in charge of the province’s lottery and gambling dealings. Lottery games are still quite popular in Canada and in B.C in particular with both physical tickets and digital ones for players to choose from. For 2021 over CA30 million has been redeemed by Lotto 6/49 players alone.

Generous Prize

The country has officially found its new lottery millionaire as Ying Chun Chen has been drawn as the winner of the guaranteed prize from the Lotto 6/49 game. Thanks to the March 6, 2021 draw Ms. Chen’s life will be changed forever in a positive direction with the generous reward of CA$1,000,000.

As Ms. Chen has appeared to claim her cheque, she shared some details on her recent major winnings from the lotto games. She told how she was having lunch with her family and her son told her that someone in the province has been drawn as the winner, only to find out minutes later that she was the lucky one.

The winning ticket was purchased at Freshco on South Fraser Way in Abbotsford. She stated that she prefers to pick her own numbers and that she is a huge fan of the Lotto 6/49 draw-based game since in her words is fun and entertaining. Ms. Chen said the feeling has not quite sun in just yet as she continues to perform her usual daily activities.

Another Set of Winners

Central Elgin couple Christopher and Sandra Barber have also been recently blessed by the lottery gods as the pair won CA$1 million. In the March 20 draw of the Encore Lotto 6/49 draw their ticket was drawn as the winning one. The couple humorously explained how they could not figure out the number as they thought it was CA$1,000 while it was actually a CA$1 million.

Another major winning in Canadian lottery games has been recently reported. The Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation has revealed that the CA$30 million Lotto Max jackpot has been won. The April 13 draw has determined that the jackpot will be split between two individuals one from Ontario and the other one residing in Quebec. The winners have not contacted the lottery corporation yet.

Previously, Peter Kinsman was randomly selected by fate to a lottery millionaire as the 62-year-old man from Woodstock has been revealed to be the winner of the CA$15,000,000 Lotto 6/49 jackpot. His ticket was drawn as the lucky one back in the February 10, 2021 draw of the game. Thanks to the big prize Mr. Kinsman plans to travel around the world when it is safer to do so.
