It seems that Canada has two new lottery millionaires this week. The Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation has most recently revealed that the grand Lotto Max jackpot has been one. Two lottery players will have to split the big prize of CA$30 million with CA$15 million each. One winner is from Burlington, Ontario, and the other one resides in Quebec.
Each year the Crown corporation rewards its players with millions of dollars to its players around the province of Ontario. The two most popular draw-based games remain Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max. And after the recent big winning the corporation advises every lottery player to double-check their tickets online at OLG.ca or by using the official OLG Lottery app.
Split Grand Prize
The April 13, 2021 draw has determined that the grand Lotto Max prize of CA$30,000,000 will be split in two. The first lucky player is from Burlington, so all locals be sure to carefully check your lottery tickets. And the second ticket was sold somewhere in Quebec. Both ticket holders are yet to contact the corporation about claiming their rewards.
Additionally, the Crown informs that last night on April 14, a second prize-winning ticket was drawn. The winner resides in the Niagara region and it will have CA$170,532 to their name. Besides that, two Encore tickets were sold in the Parry Sound/Nipissing district and the other in Unionville. The next Lotto Max jackpot is worth CA$10 million and players who want to participate in its draw must buy tickets before 10:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021
The Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation also informed that a ticket from April 2020 worth CA$1 million remains unclaimed and is about to expire. The ticket was for the Lotto 6/49 draw on April 15, 2020, and the 52-week deadline for claiming the prize will expire today. There is still for the winner to claim his prize as the Crown agency urges every who has played the lottery in Cambridge last April to check once more.
CA$ 2 Million Won
Quebec has one more lottery millionaire this month, as René Mercier has pocketed the grand prize worth CA$2,000,000. The lotto player currently resides in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean in Quebec and thanks to the Québec Max game he will be significantly richer. His ticket was determined to be the winning one in the March 30 draw.
Even More Winnings
And speaking of winning big, we must mention the 62-year-old Peter Kinsman whose world was recently turned upside down. The Woodstock resident has been drawn as the winner of the CA$15 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot, reported that Ontario lottery corporation. Thanks to February 10, 2021, Mr. Kinsman will have to find a way to spend the huge prize.
Previously, Tammy Manning has significantly improved her life standard as she has been lucky enough to win the Lotto Max jackpot. The grand prize amounts to the stunning CA$13,000,000 and her ticket was drawn as the winning one in the March 19, Lotto Max draw.
