CA$31-Million Lotto Max Jackpot is Up for Grabs

The Lotto Max main prize will be even bigger in the next draw on September 10, 2021, as the jackpot will now be the impressive amount of CA$31 million. This is due to the fact that on Tuesday, no ticket from all of the Canadian provinces matched the winning number combination, and thus the CA$25 million jackpot remained unclaimed.

Lotto Max is one of the draw-based games with one of the biggest prizes in the country, as its jackpot can reach the astonishing amount of CA$70 million. Depending on the size of the jackpot, participants can also win a Maxmillion prize during the weekly draws on Tuesdays and Fridays, worth CA$1 million.

Even Greater Amount Now

Unfortunately, the Crown agencies of Canada have reported that no one from the provinces has been lucky enough to win Tuesday’s CA$25 million Lotto Max jackpot. The winning number during Tuesday’s draw were 05, 08, 31, 36, 41, 42 & 43. Additionally, the number 39 was drawn as the Bonus one of the draw.

But this Friday, September 10, 2021, lottery players from the country will have another chance at the main prize which will be then the staggering amount of CA$31 million. According to, the Crown agencies the next draw will also offer 14 Maxmillion prizes up for grabs, and each of them will be worth CA$1,000,000, thus a total of CA$45 million in rewards on Friday.

Maxmillion Winner Revealed

Recently, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation revealed that Stephan Zimmermann will share a Maxmillion prize with another winning ticket. Mr. Zimmermann is from Mississauga, and his ticket was drawn as one of the winning ones worthy of a Maxmillion prize during the June 15 draw of Lotto Max. The winner is now CA$500,000 richer.

Mr. Zimmermann arrived at an OLG office to claim his big winning and explained that he is a regular Lotto Max and Lotto Max winner but this is his largest win to date. With the prize, the former skilled trades worker plans on retiring several weeks earlier than planned. He also intends on traveling to Eastern Canada and even purchasing a property there.

Dreams Coming True

This week the Western Canada Lottery Corporation revealed the identity of one more Canadian lotto millionaire with Andrew Weninger from Edmonton winning the CA$15,000,000 Lotto Max jackpot. The winner explained that he was sleeping while his mother woke him up to tell him the big news. With the reward Mr. Weninger plans to invest some of it, purchase a new vehicle, go back to school, and travel around the world when it is safer to do so.

Victoria Duo Wins CA$1,000,000

This month the BCLC announced that Donald and Janice MacDonald from Victoria, B.C. have won a CA$1 Million Guaranteed prize in the Lotto 6/49 game during the July 28 draw. The couple told the news to their close ones and had fun in a game of telephone while out and having dinner. The two winners plan to celebrate the great occasion, but they will then take their time and figure out the best way to spend the money.
