Mr. Cavallo admitted that he is not a big betting fanatic, but in his words, he is definitely a sports addict. He previously lived in Las Vegas, and described the hype around the event as a great time, since the whole city erupts as he said. But now he is ready to place his bets in the Capital Regionā€™s gambling property.

In light of the March Madness tournament, gambling enthusiasts should be aware of the New York State Law. The law states that gamblers from the NYS are unable to wager on a local team, or teams that are playing in the state. But despite the specific rule, the casino is expecting to attract big crowds and has even provided a special offer of 64-dollar hotel rooms for the 64-team tournament.

Off to a Great Start

As already mentioned, the casino is enjoying a great start of this year, after reports of record-breaking sporting income for January. Estimations show that the stateā€™s four commercial gaming facilities were able to generate US$3.57 million in revenue for the month of January 2021. Rivers Casino managed to break its own revenue heights by accumulating over US$1.429 million for the said period of time.

Responsible Entity

The NY-based commercial venue also recognizes its responsibility to responsible gambling. The casino took part in last yearā€™s edition of the Problem Gambling Awareness Month, which aims towards advocating gambling in a responsible manner and helping any gambling enthusiasts who are currently troubled by their addictions.
