The lucky purchase had been made at Jean Coutu from Chambly Road in Longueuil. On the following day, Lise Clément who had been fond of the well-known Scrabble tickets bagged another considerable windfall. As a result of her lucky purchase, she is now CA$30,000 richer.

She recalled that the Scrabble ticket purchase took place at Maxi & Cie from Chambly Road in Longueuil. Quebec players are also fond of The Wheel of Fortune lottery game that has up to CA$1,000,000 for grabs.

August 3 was a special day for Diane Dagenais who has the chance to spin the wheel and keep her fingers crossed for the largest cash prize possible. Seconds later the wheel stopped at CA$50,000, changing the Saine-Clotilde woman’s life forever.

Lotto MAX Returns with CA$26M

The province of Manitoba was also among the lucky ones over the past few days, as Lotto 6/49 was able to make someone’s life much easier and financially stable. The latest draw taking place on Saturday came with a Main Prize reaching CA$5 million. Despite everyone’s attention, it remained untouched but smaller cash prizes would soon be bagged. A single ticket purchased in Winnipeg is eligible for CA$107,517.

The winning numbers were 4, 14, 17, 22, 26, 46 with the bonus number 47 and matching five of the six numbers plus the bonus one was enough to win the cash prize. Another single ticket purchased in Quebec became eligible for the guaranteed CA$1,000,000 prize coming with the Lotto 6/49 draw. August 7 would feature CA$7-million Main Prize. Meanwhile, Lotto MAX continues growing at a steady pace.

Last Friday’s regular draw came with a CA$21-million jackpot that managed to make it through the draw. This Tuesday is about to return with a CA$26-million cash prize for the fortunate player who matches all numbers needed. The last days of July saw a ticket sold in Richmond ready to secure the bag and CA$60 million, but for the time being, nobody has contacted the British Columbia Lottery Corporation to claim their prize.
