Up and Running in the Empire State

But to gain access to the New York market, in August 2023, Fanatics acquired PointsBet’s U.S. division in a US$150 million deal. The latter was licensed to operate in the Empire State and started migration to the new platform. Now, PointsBet customers in the state had their usernames, passwords, balances, and reward points automatically migrated to the Fanatics Sportsbook.

Fanatics’ app impresses with its fast signup process, easy-to-navigate betting menu, transparent withdrawals and taking the industry by storm with its cutting-edge features. In addition to that, the app also touts FanCash, which a feature providing users with the opportunity to gain up to 5% of the total of their wager in FanCash. But that is not all as its Discover feature, includes everything that a bettor could care about. This contains marquee games, key statistics, most popular bets all in one location – the Discover tab.

The company’s sports betting app also offers some industry-leading search functionality. It boasts a search bar, recent searches, autocomplete, synonym/alias and deep linking functionalities. This way, its customers can easily look up the bet they wish to place. In addition to that, they are also able to place the desired bet right from the search results.

That is why users of the app have access to Responsible Gaming tools to manage their time and money, as well as a market-leading Help Center, chat experience, and professionally trained agents who provide 24/7 support.

New York is the Sports Betting Capital
