Super Bowl Finalist Catches PROLINE Bettors by Surprise

The stage is set as the Super Bowl LVIII will see the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11, 2024. However, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the matchup surprised many bettors on its PROLINE sports betting platform. The final will be hosted at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

OLG is a state-run corporation that provides gambling and sports betting entertainment responsibly while also returning 100% of its profits to Ontario. Latest Numbers by the Crown

As per OLG reports, around 58% selected Kansas City to win against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, as they claimed a tight 17-10 victory. However, only 44% of the moneyline wagers were on San Francisco to emerge victorious in the NFC championship game. The 49ers managed to scrap a win from a 17-point deficit against the Detroit Lions and won 34-31.

In the final, Kansas City will pursue its second consecutive NFL title and third in the last five years. Meanwhile, San Francisco will be after its first one since 1995. The latter has started as the slight favourite for the Crown on PROLINE. Approximately 56% of players took Kansas plus-5.5 on the point spread by 21% correct guessed the under 44.5 total points.

A big portion of the bettors on the platform wagered big on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the second-most popular first and anytime TD scorer after Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson.
