GeoLocs Facilitates Jumpman Gaming’s Ontario Launch

Jumpman Gaming has recently announced that it has selected mkodo’s GeoLocs as a geolocation provider for The Six Gaming’s debut in Ontario’s regulated iGaming market. Via the agreement, GeoLocs will facilitate the operator’s launch in the province and provide it with its geolocation verification solution. Thus, making sure that the brand is in compliance with provincial standards.

In April 2022, Ontario became the first Canadian jurisdiction to open its regulated internet gambling sector to third-party operators. Provided that a private firm applies and is approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, it can then offer and accept legal online wagers in the province. However, an operating agreement from iGaming Ontario is also needed.

Powering The Six Gaming in Ontario

After being licensed by the iGaming watchdog, The Six Gaming is now pursuing exactly an operating agreement from iGO and is currently listed on the agency’s website as a regulated operator. Once everything is set, the operator will debut a single AGCO-licensed website which will offer a plethora of online casino options for local and eligible bettors to choose from.

Once online, the website is slated to offer premium interactive gambling titles such as slots, bingo, instant win games, progressive jackpots, table games, and last but not least live casino games. All of which will be made available via an intuitive and mobile-optimized UI. Soon players of 19 years of age or older will be able to check these offerings themselves.

Kris Kukula, Director at The Six Gaming shared that it was great to be able to offer customers more choice when it comes to geolocation verification. He praised the geolocation provider and said its technology, knowledge, and expertise in the local gaming sector were unmatched. The company is eager to deploy its partner’s geolocation service which enabled it to launch in the sector.

GeoLocs is currently among the top geolocation verification providers and it is one of the veteran brands in Ontario’s iGaming space. It has recently facilitated the launch of Rootz and Casumo. The company was developed specifically to support internet gambling operators, and ensure that they are running in compliance with jurisdictions’ rules and offer responsible gambling to clients.

The over CA$14 billion in wagering volume translated to around CA$540 million in gaming revenue which was an amazing 105% increase over last year’s Q2. By the end of the quarter, there were 47 operators and 71 gaming websites up and running. These web portals and apps clocked approximately 943,000 active player accounts with an average monthly spend of CA$191.
