Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, New York, has expanded its dining amenities as it has now launched its new Full Plate Eatery. Seneca Gaming Corporation, which operates the casino, informed that the new eatery is located next to the gaming floor, and it occupies the space which was previously home to the Thunder Falls Buffet.
The company has described its new restaurant as an endless options eatery where patrons will be able to enjoy a plethora of classic and specialty dishes for every kind of palate. It is set to offer Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, while also being equipped with a grill station, a wood-burning pizza oven, and serving a broad variety of salads, desserts, and sundaes.
Now Open for Visitors
In a news release from Seneca Gaming Corporation, its President and CEO Kevin Nephew said that the Full Plate Eatery is now open to customers of Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. He said that guests will not leave the restaurant hungry, but it will certainly make them hungry for their visit. He said that the diner is a perfect addition to the casino’s world-class dining options.
The casino announced that the new eatery will operate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. On Sunday, Monday and Thursday prices for guests will be US$32.99, while on Friday and Saturday US$38.99. Children between 6-10-years-old can eat at half-price, while aged 5 and younger will eat for free.
On top of the eatery opening, Seneca Gaming Corporation announced that its The Spa at the Niagara Falls property will now resume work. The amenity is located on the third floor of the 26-story hotel and will initially offer a limited menu of services, including massage, facials and body treatments. The Spa will now be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
Mr. Nephew commented that The Spa is a major attraction at the resort, as it is an ideal place to rest and rejuvenate. He is now pleased that the service is back up and running for the casino’s many guests. Celebrating Gaming Compact
Last week marked the 20-year anniversary of the Seneca Nation of Indians and its Seneca Gaming Corp. gaming compact with the Empire State. Leaders of the tribe such as Mr. Nephew and President of the Nation Matthew Pagels gathered at the Niagara Falls casino to celebrate the occasion and discuss the plans for a potential new gaming compact with the state.
Back in March New York State’s administration resorted to extreme actions to force the Nation to pay its overdue slot revenue payments. However, Mr. Pagels commented that this is something of the past. And that now, the tribe is optimistic about the discussion regarding a new gaming compact with the state. The current one expires in December 2023 and negotiations have already kicked off.
