Casino Rama Adds More Exciting Shows to its Calendar

Recently, Casino Rama has announced that two more concerts will be added to its live entertainment schedule when they return in January. Canadian rock icons Kim Mitchell and Honeymoon Suite will be now part of the fun-packed live events schedule for the property’s reopening of its Entertainment Centre in a few weeks.

Live shows at the casino hotspot were put on hold since the occurrence of the unprecedented situation in March 2020. In fact, since then the property had also been closed down, but work at the resort was renewed this summer, as Ontario entered Stage 3 of the Reopening Plan. Now, a few months later live entertainment can also make its official return.

Two More Shows

Kim Mitchell’s and Honeymoon Suite’s show is scheduled at Casino Rama’s Entertainment Centre for Saturday, January 22, 2022. The rock live show will start at 8 p.m. and doors for the venue will open an hour earlier. Tickets prices start at CA$49 and will be available for purchase from December 1, 2021, at noon. Tickets can be purchased in person at the casino or by calling 1-877-599-RAMA (7262).

Guests should also know that there will be provincial guidelines in place that must be complied with. For example, in order to gain entry, they will need to present proof of full vaccination as well as a government-issued photo for identification. The casino also informs that patrons will also be required to wear face masks at all times while at the property except when consuming food or drinks.

The First Nations casino which is operated by Gateway Casinos and Entertainment was closed down for quite a while since the emergence of the unprecedented situation. After closing in March 2020, it was able to reopen doors this summer on July 29, 2021. Once it started work again, the casino did not return with a full set of services, as in the summer it offered only slot games and limited food amenities.

Fallsview Also Welcomes Live Shows Back

Another Ontario gaming hotspot will also soon renew its live entertainment program as Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort announced several new shows. The property will be finally able to welcome guests at its brand-new 5,000-seat Avalon Ballroom. This will mark the first time that the venue would be able to host a live entertainment show.

One of the upcoming shows this January will be the eight-day run of the musical “Forever Plaid”, which will begin on January 6th. Tickets start at CA$30. The new venue will also welcome Tony Orlando for two shows one on January 17 and one on January 18. Comedian Kathleen Madigan will also perform at the venue on February 5, as part of her “Do You Have Any Ranch?” tour. Tickets for her show start at CA$30.

However, it should be mentioned that live performances at Fallsview Casino Resort will start this December. As the property’s 1,500-seats Avalon Theatre will host some exciting performances this month. Such as the holiday-themed production Christmas Wonderland, which starts on December 1 and will continue through December 18.
