PointsBet Canada Signs Two Major Curling Partnerships

PointsBet continues its expansion in Canada, as its division, PointsBet Canada has signed two more major curling partnerships in the country. Previously, the Canadian branch became the official and exclusive sports betting partner of Curling Canada, and now the company will be joining forces with two of the best curling sides – Team Kerri Einarson and Team Kevin Koe.

The parent company is one of the leading online gaming operators in the U.S. Initially, PointsBet has started as a bookmaker in the Australian gaming market but it has now grown to an international gaming leader. The company boasts an immense quality of services conducted with an impressive speed, as well as a full range of pre-game and in-play wagering options.

Important Milestone

Scott Vanderwel, who serves as CEO of PointsBet Canada stated that the company prides itself on excellence, and it is extremely glad to be joining forces with the country’s top curling sides. The CEO has also said that the Canadian branch wants to support athletes and teams that carry the spirit and love for the sport and the country in the Great White North.

Skip Kerri Einarson, who is a two-time reigning women’s curling national champion commented on the collaboration and stated that her team is quite excited to partner with the Canadian operator. She believes that the company has an immense love and passion for the sport of curling and that their collaboration would only help the sport to grow even bigger.

Kevin Koe, a two-time World champion, four-time Canadian champion said that his team is also quite pleased to have a world-class company like PointsBet Canada on board. Mr. Koe who was skip of the Canadian men’s team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang explained that the support is evolving and the collaboration with the operator will help it reach new heights.

The CEO of the company has also shared that the operator is concentrated on the continuation and building of important relationships with partners that are already familiar to the Canadian sports fans. According to him, this will be a pivotal point for the company to establish its brand and values to the local market, while also creating a level playing field in responsible and gaming.

Confident in Their Product

PointsBet Canada is a huge admirer of the Canadian sports betting market and Ontario’s soon-to-be open market for private operators. Mr. Vanderwel is quite optimistic about the company’s chances in the new markets, as, in his words, he believes in the product of his own company and is willing to take on the challenge from other gaming giants who would also apply for a license in the country.

Two More Significant Deals

On September 29, 2021, the gaming operator has also announced that it will be the official and exclusive sports betting partner of both Dailyfaceoff.com and The Nation Network. CCO of the company, Nic Sulsky commented that the firm was looking into establishing even greater connection and engagement with sports fans in the country and both companies are the perfect candidates for that.
