Over the years many Canadians were generously rewarded for playing the lottery with millions of dollars being distributed across all provinces. This time Greg Gerla was chosen by fate to be the next millionaire. The Calgary man has acquired his Lotto 6/49 ticket in Lethbridge convenience store, and it turned out to be the winning one in the January 27 draw.
Thanks to the Lotto 6/49 game, the Canadian will now be a million dollars richer, making the current financial crisis for him a little bit easier to bear. Mr. Gerla has cashed in on a free-to-play Lotto 6/49 ticket in the Savers Convenience Store in the 1900 block of 13 Avenue N. and saw his dreams come true with the January 27 draw.
According to the winner he had several tickets to check, at first, he was happy to win CA$20 from one of them, but it was the last ticket that brought him the hefty rewards of CA$1 million. In his words, in the beginning, he could not believe what he was seeing on the screen upon realizing that he was the winner.
The fortunate Calgarian shared his joy over the winnings and revealed his plans on how he is considering to spend the money. His desire is to save some portion of the money, then put some into long-term investments. And last but not least he is determined to buy a brand-new motor vehicle as a treat to himself.

Fortune Favors the Brave
The Lotto 6/49 game has also been quite generous to another Canadian lottery player. This time to the Langley resident Eileen Bevis. The lady was fortunate enough to be drawn as the lucky ticket holder of the January 23 2021 draw, which brought her the amazing prize of CA$4 million. What is even more amazing is that Ms. Bevis decided to purchase a ticket on her way out of a convenience store, which later turned out to be a pretty good deal for her.
