EveryMatrix has obtained conditional licensing approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC), allowing the company to provide its iGaming technology in the Canadian province. This move represents a key step in EveryMatrix’s ongoing expansion across North America.
Launching in Alberta’s Regulated Market
The approval permits EveryMatrix to deliver its casino and sports platform solutions to licensed operators under Alberta’s new regulatory framework, which is expected to go live in July 2026. Alberta will become Canada’s second regulated iGaming market, following Ontario.
At launch, EveryMatrix plans to offer games from its in-house studio, Fantasma Games, alongside aggregated content from partner providers. The company sees this as an opportunity to further broaden its portfolio within the province.
Strengthening North American Presence
The license reinforces EveryMatrix’s position as a tier-1 provider across North America. The company already operates in several jurisdictions, including Ontario since 2022, as well as New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. With Alberta’s population of roughly five million, high digital adoption, and strong GDP per capita, the province represents a promising iGaming market.
EveryMatrix has also secured commercial agreements in Alberta to supply both platform services and in-house gaming content, ensuring readiness for the market launch.
Rani Axon, Market Manager for North America at EveryMatrix, commented:
“Entering Alberta marks an exciting step for the Group as we expand further into one of North America’s most attractive regulated markets. This approval shows the strength of our compliance team and our readiness to meet regulatory requirements in any market.”
