Peter & Sons has expanded its regulated North American presence by making its complete game catalogue available in Alberta, adding another Canadian market to the studio’s growing footprint. The Barcelona-based game developer announced the move on July 16, 2026, as Alberta continues developing its regulated online gaming framework.
The entry gives players in the province access to the studio’s full portfolio rather than a limited selection of titles. The catalogue includes recognizable releases such as Barbarossa: Dragon Empire, The Soapranos and Greedy Alice, alongside other games developed by the studio.
Alberta has attracted attention from suppliers as the province develops its approach to regulated online gaming. Peter & Sons views the market as another opportunity to establish a longer-term presence in Canada following the development of Ontario’s regulated iGaming sector.
The company has continued entering regulated jurisdictions as part of its international expansion, with the Alberta launch extending that activity further across North America.
Complete catalogue arrives in Alberta
By launching its full range of games from the beginning, Peter & Sons is introducing Alberta players to the broader collection of themes, characters and gameplay systems associated with its catalogue.
Lauryn Duncan, Head of Sales at Peter & Sons, said: “Alberta is an exciting new market for Peter & Sons and an important step in our North American growth. Launching with our full portfolio gives us the chance to introduce the complete Peter & Sons experience from day one, from the art and characters to the mechanics and worlds that define our games. It is a market with strong potential, and we are proud to bring our games to players there.”
The Alberta expansion comes as the studio prepares another addition to its portfolio. Peter & Sons has confirmed that Greedy Alice 2: Bigger Bites will be released on July 23, 2026, continuing the setting and character introduced in the original Greedy Alice title.
A social media preview published ahead of the launch described the game as the second installment in the series and confirmed several of its central mechanics, including Scatter Pays, cascades, doubling multipliers and the Barrage feature.
Greedy Alice returns with new gameplay mechanics
Greedy Alice 2: Bigger Bites uses a 6×5 grid and Scatter Pays mechanics. Wins occur when eight or more matching symbols appear anywhere on the grid. Winning symbols then disappear, allowing replacements to fall into the vacant positions and potentially create another winning combination.
Each successful cascade doubles the current multiplier, beginning at x1. Cascades can continue as long as additional wins form after symbols drop onto the grid.
The Barrage feature introduces mystery blocks measuring either 2×2 or 3×3. When one of these blocks appears, it changes into a single symbol type and alters a larger section of the playing area at once.
Peter & Sons has also included Free Spins and Super Free Spins. During Super Free Spins, every spin includes a guaranteed Barrage, while multipliers retain their accumulated values between wins.
Additional features listed for the game include Multiplier Jumps, Golden Bet and Buy Bonus options. The title supports a feature buy-in and includes a bonus mode.
The studio classifies Greedy Alice 2: Bigger Bites as a very-high-volatility game. Its default RTP stands at 96.42%, while the listed hit frequency is 30.42%. Betting ranges from €0.10 to €50, and the maximum payout reaches 20,000x the stake.
With its complete catalogue now entering Alberta and another major sequel scheduled for release, Peter & Sons is adding both geographic reach and new content to its 2026 activity. The Alberta launch gives the studio a broader presence in Canada, while Greedy Alice 2: Bigger Bites extends one of its existing game concepts with a new set of mechanics and a maximum win potential of 20,000x.
