Barcelona-based studio Peter & Sons is expanding its footprint in Ontario after entering into a new content agreement with Casino Time, an operator with a well-established presence in the province’s regulated market. The deal was delivered in collaboration with Light & Wonder and represents a strategic alignment for both companies as the operator continues shaping its product mix.
Casino Time’s primary platform, CasinoTime.ca, offers a variety of online casino products including slot titles, live dealer tables, and bingo. The company has also signaled plans for a Casino Time-branded sportsbook as part of its aim to broaden its catalogue and strengthen its competitive position in Ontario’s regulated ecosystem.
Expanding Content Across a Growing Market
Ontario’s iGaming market has become one of the most active regulated environments in North America. Through this agreement, players in the province now have access to a selection of releases from Peter & Sons, including Barbarossa Dragon Empire, the third installment in the Barbarossa series. Seasonal launch Bad Santa and the post-apocalyptic Zombie Road are also part of the lineup.
Peter & Sons has developed a reputation for stylized designs, offbeat characters, and distinctive worldbuilding. Its output has drawn interest from players who engage with indie-inspired game concepts and unconventional slot themes. Casino Time, for its part, has positioned itself as a platform that emphasizes Canadian heritage and curated entertainment, making the agreement a complementary fit for the regulated Ontario audience.
Collaboration and Strategic Positioning
Both companies framed the partnership as the foundation for a longer-term relationship in the province. Yann Bautista, Peter & Sons Founder and Commercial Director, stated: “Ontario has long been a major focus for us, and partnering up with Casino Time marks an exciting milestone for our expansion in the region. Their commitment to delivering top-tier entertainment aligns perfectly with our bold vision, and we’re looking forward to sharing some of our most beloved titles with the Casino Time’s audience.”
Casino Time echoed the sentiment as it continues to refine its strategy in the province’s maturing marketplace. Jeffrey Holmes, Chief Operating Officer of Casino Time, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Peter & Sons, a studio renowned for its distinctive artistic style and highly engaging gameplay. As we continue to cement our leading position in the Ontario market, this agreement represents a major step in expanding the premium entertainment we offer to players.”
Both companies indicated expectations for ongoing collaboration and content deployment as Casino Time develops new verticals and Peter & Sons seeks to grow its audience in regulated regions across North America.
