The UK-based lottery ticket dispensers provider would now closely support the Canadian company in order to diversify the local field. Lottery offerings are among the preferred gambling activities giving their fans the chance to win big in a matter of minutes.

Canada and the UK Collaborate
Fastrak Retail was chosen based on its previous accomplishments and the proficiency it has demonstrated. Over the years the company has worked with the UK National Lottery, the Irish Lottery, as well as other lottery corporations around the globe. The current acquisition made official the complete purchase of Fastrak Retail which has been in progress for some time.
The company is also known for its most recent collaboration with the Illinois Lottery following an inked contract. Doug Pollard, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Pollard, expressed his contentment with the inked acquisition projected to be beneficial for both parties involved in the process. With this move, the Canadian company branches out to explore new fields across the ocean. Fastrak’s current projects are expected to benefit from the move.
John Barrett, Managing Director of Fastrak Retail, stated that the acquisition is going to step up its game and solidify its position in North America. Lottery offerings would be the final product of this joint work and improvement would be visible there as well. Pollard Banknote Continues Agreements
The acquisition itself amounted to some CA$7 million, opening Fastrack the door to Pollard Banknote’s large family. Over 60 lottery companies already collaborate with the Canadian leader, expanding its influence on an international level. Only recently the company inked a 5-year agreement with the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation continuing their operation.
The corporation works with all five Canadian lottery corporations to the likes of Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Loto-Québec, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. They guarantee lottery operation in all Canadian provinces offering the wide spectrum of instant lottery tickets and games with weekly draws.
Thanks to the extension inked mid-April, the two entities are going to continue their operation until December 31, 2023, with the opportunity to renew it prior to its deadline. In the meantime, the lottery supplier also announced its contract extension with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. It is a 10-year one that is going to make possible collaboration until December 31, 2028.
