Via the partnership, the two bring world-class music and comedy show to the operator’s properties across the country. This will also include the soon-to-launch Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and its The Theatre.

First-of-Its Kind Collaboration
As part of the newest agreement, Live Nation Canada will become the exclusive booking agent and both parties will put efforts together to promote upcoming events. A partnership of this kind is a first for Canada and it is expected to enhance live entertainment at the gaming operator’s casinos across the country including those venues in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

New Toronto Casino Opens this Summer
Earlier this year, Great Canadian Entertainment announced that its Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto will begin work in the summer of 2023. The new gaming venue will have the largest gaming floor in the country and the CA$1 billion resort will be located at the intersection of Highways 401 and 427 in close proximity to Woodbine Racetrack.
The gaming operator also informed that its existing and up-and-running Casino Woodbine in the area will continue work without interruption until the new CA$1 billion resort debuts. The new property is set to officially open doors sometime in the summer of 2023, and the gambling leader said that it will provide an official opening date in the upcoming weeks.
In the fall of 2022, the gaming leader also appointed and welcomed its new Chief Executive Officer – Matthew Anfinson. He assumed the position from Antony Rodio who stepped down from the post as he retired. In addition to that informed that it has appointed Jordan Banks as the first Executive Chairperson.
