IWG Incorporates Its e-Instants with OLG

Just this week, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and Instant Win Gaming have reported that their integration has been complete. Now, the leading supplier of e-Instant games to NASPL/WLA-member lotteries has incorporated its Instant Remote Game Server to the OLG and launched its first e-Instant Games in the province of Ontario.

With the recent integration, the OLG has now become the ninth Canadian province to launch e-Instant games from the leading provider. This was possible after the lottery company has applied for a supplier license to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and being approved as one, thus allowing it to collaborate with the OLG.

Now Available in Ontario

After its official debut in Ontario, IWG is now supplying its premium offerings to nine provinces in Canada and a total of 28 lottery agencies in the world. The provider has already proved itself in the Great White North, as it has inked a collaboration with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, and Loto-Québec.

The agreement allows OLG to launch eInstants from IWG, as well as for the provider to integrate its InstantJackpot and InstantLink technologies. These mechanics provide progressive jackpot prizes within its in-house developed titles. Also, the Crown corporation will gain access to adopt the company’s cutting-edge InstantPulse technology, which allows updating e-Instants at pre-set moments.

Andrew Darley, OLG Senior Director, iCasino & iLottery commented as the province’s iGaming sector has launched, the launch of numerous e-Instant games is an important move for the Crown and its OLG.ca which will allow it to stand out among competitors. He also reminded that 100% of OLG’s proceeds are reinvested in the province, so when bettors play on the platform, they play for Ontario.

CEO of IWG, Rhydian Fisher, noted that after the recent launch of the online gaming market, the partnership with OLG is a riveting opportunity for the supplier. He is confident that their lottery product will resonate well with Ontarian lottery players. And shared that they have exciting plans to help OLG in advancing its offerings as the single lottery operator in the province.

Strong Connections Across Canada

As already noted, IWG has a major influence on the Canadian lottery market. At the start of October 2022, the company announced an omni-channel game agreement with the ALC. As a part of the agreement, IWG will be tasked with developing omnichannel games for players of the Crown. Now, the gaming supplier is set to produce some of its e-Instant titles as retail instant tickets and pull-tabs for the ALC.

Back in March 2021, IWG also inked a new agreement with the BCLC. Through it, at the time, the Crown became the fifth Canadian lottery to offer the provider’s revolutionary technology of InstantJackpots. The first integrated title on the Crown’s PlayNow platform was Jungle Tumble Jackpots. The two companies have been partners since 2018.
