Bragg Gaming Group’s Subsidiary Makes UK Debut

ORYX Gaming, which is a Bragg Gaming Group subsidiary has had a tremendous start to the new year, as the company has officially launched its first iCasino content in the United Kingdom. This is possible after previously the company acquired regulatory licenses and inked a partnership deal with 888casino, which is one of the leading online casino brands in the region.

Now, a selection of games from ORYX Gaming’s exclusive RGS have been integrated into 888casino for the United Kingdom audiences. This includes titles from the company’s in-house studio and products from GAMOMAT. As well as Egyptian Magic, which is the first title from Bragg Gaming Group’s new studio – Atomic Slot Lab.

Major Milestone

The official launch in the United Kingdom is a significant achievement for both Bragg Gaming Group and ORYX Gaming. The former has enjoyed a long-lasting partnership with 888casino, and that it why it has chosen it as the first operator in the country to debut its content. Also, the company already has launched content with the online casino’s platform in several other markets.

ORYX Gaming was able to acquire a UK license last month, which now enables it to collaborate with one of the largest gaming operators in the competitive gaming market of the UK. Previously, the UK Gambling Commission reported that the Gross Gambling Yield for online gaming in the country last year amount to £6.9 billion, which is approximately US$9.2 billion, with iCasino titles accumulating £4.0 billion.

Chief Commercial Officer of Bragg Gaming Group, Chris Looney said that the region comes with a major opportunity for the company to extend its brand in the global iGaming sector. He also shared that the company is pleased to be collaborating with 888casino once more, which has been a valued partner and one of the leading online wagering companies in the industry.

Talya Benyamini, Vice President of B2C Casino at 888casino, commented that the company is delighted to be expanding its already great partnership with ORYX Gaming. In his words, by offering a selection of the studio’s iGaming titles to the company’s UK platform, they will be able to provide even greater playing variety to the many gamblers from the region.

Swiss Deal

Additionally, ORYX Gaming had a strong finish of 2021, as at the end of December, the company announced one more content distribution agreement. This one was with the Swiss operator, Grand Casino Baden, which further cemented the company’s position in the local market. One of the first debuting titles were the firm’s top-performing ones such as Royal Seven, Ramses Book, Crystal Book, and Take 5.

New CEO

In November 2021, Bragg Gaming Group has also announced that former Chair of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation – Paul Godfrey will be taking over the role of Interim CEO at the company. This decision was due to the company’s Board of Directors concluding a strategic review of the overall performance, as well as an assessment of the CEO role.
