WPT Montreal Praises Top Poker Players with CA$5 Million in Guaranteed Prize Pools

World Poker Tour Montreal is about to make the next couple of weeks even more exciting for all enthusiasts, as the poker festival would see its official start on October 20.

With guaranteed prize pools reaching CA$5 million, this poker festival is projected to be the highlight of this fall at Playground Poker. It would greenlight the WPT Main Tour, WPTDeepStacks and WPT500 special events with generous prize pools and major wins for the top positions on the leader board. This Sunday is ready to welcome players with the Main Event Online Day 1 and Day 2, coming with a buy-in of CA$3,000 + CA$300.

Poker Events Commence Online

The guaranteed prize pool for the culminating event amounts to CA$3,000,000, with an evident theme featuring the number 3 across the Main Event. It could bring good fortune to the most proficient among the participants. The online phase of WPT Montreal lasts from October 20 until the end of October 24, allowing players to warm up and try their luck with multiple starting flights.

Along with the first two days of the Main Event, WPT500 is about to have its five starting flights over those four days. The first one is scheduled to take place on October 20, coming with a mandatory buy-in of CA$500 + CA$50. As for the guaranteed prize pool, this event features some CA$1,066,000 in guaranteed prizes that could see an increase. October 25 would bring the WPT500’s first live starting flights coming with similar mandatory entry fees.

Starting flights with various structures will be sprinkled over the days leading to October 28. Players will have a total of eight live opportunities to enter the race towards the grand prizes. October 29 is scheduled to see WPT500’s final table and its winner. This is also the day when this festival’s High Roller event will have its second day of live action. The three-day tournament boasts a buy-in reaching CA$5,000 + CA$300, reaching its final table on October 30.

Meanwhile, the Main Event all poker enthusiasts are eyeing will have its Day 1A next Tuesday, October 29. Conditions for entering are similar to online events. There would be three starting flights at Playground Poker in Kahnawake, offering players multiple chances of entering the race.

Along with the starting flights, players will be offered Satellite events for the upcoming flights, as well as for Day 2 on November 1. WPTDeepStacks is also scheduled to launch on the very first day of November with three starting opportunities of entering, as well as buy-in of CA$1,500 + CA$150.
