Playground Poker Heats Up Kahnawake with CA$240K GTD Power Weekend

Nothing says Live Poker Action quite as well as a memorable poker weekend that is able to bring benefits to everyone involved in the process. Playground Poker Club located within the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake is always ready to bring its players something riveting, which is why its Power Weekend is scheduled to take place between May 2 and May 6, 2019.

This extended poker action would aim to bring excitement to everyone and grant them generous payouts. Playground Poker Club is synonymous with a premium level of poker action and Canadian players are already well-acquainted with everything it has on offer.

This is something that would not change during the upcoming Power Weekend starting this Thursday. The overall amount of guaranteed prize pools sprinkled across the live events reaches CA$240,000, a reason enough for anyone interested to register for participation in a timely manner.

Poker Action Starts May 2

This poker action would offer players their last chance of winning a coveted CA$10,300 seat to MILLIONS North America which is projected to transform the way locals play poker. Satellite events are always a good way for enthusiasts to guarantee themselves a spot at an event at a more affordable price.

In Playground Poker Club, there are three STEPS, which could make this a reality. May 2 would bring the official opening and first event – Mix Max Re-Entry with a buy-in of CA$100 + CA$10 and a guaranteed prize pool of CA$5,000. This would warm up the seats for the Strangers in the Night and its first flight that would cost some CA$150 + CA$25.

This event comes with a guaranteed prize pool of CA$50,000 and it the first must-attend tournament of this Power Weekend. This day would also bring the STEP 1 MILLIONS North America Satellite Turbo Re-Entry event. Buy-in for this event reaches CA$80 + CA$10 and it has the potential to guarantee ten players a seat at the STEP 2 event that would bring them even closer to the premium tournament.

Players Could Reach MILLIONS North America

This first day is also going to showcase a PLO Bounty Re-Entry event with a CA$150 + CA$20 + CA$50 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of CA$8,000. The poker game is renowned for its wide popularity and since it is not the typical No-Limit Hold’em, many players prefer it as something diverse they could try. Friday is projected to heat up the poker arena even further, as the day would commence with Deepstack Turbo event at 12 p.m.

Buy-in for this event would amount to some CA$100 + CA$10, whereas the guaranteed prize pool would amount to CA$8,000. One of the highlights of this weekend, the Strangers in the Night event is scheduled to have its following two starting flights on May 4. They are going to feature a similar buy-in to the first one.

All players who manage to survive the three starting flights will meet once again on the official Day 2 on May 4. This is when everyone interested in winning big would face the competition and see their rival poker enthusiasts in action.
