This week, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation reports one more major winning from a lottery game. The names of the lucky winners are Carmen and Clinton Crossman and they were more than pleased to see that their Set for Life scratch-off ticket has brought them a hefty payout. According to the Crown agency, the prize is worth the impressive CA$675,000.
For the year 2021, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation has already paid out more than CA$10,000,000 in Set for Life prizes. Locals can purchase physical and online tickets for the game on PlayNow.com. Tickets can also be checked anywhere at any time on iOS or Android devices via the corporationās BCLC Lotto! app.
Huge Scratch-Off Win
The winner Mr. and Ms. Crossman reveal that they were flabbergasted after finding out that their scratch-off ticket has brought them such a prize. After arriving at a BCLC office to claim their prize, the couple revealed that the life-changing ticket was purchased at Super Save Gas on Front Street in the town of Quesnel.
Ms. Crossman found out about the major winning by scratching the ticket at her car and then immediately contacting Mr. Crossman and telling him the amazing news. She explains that she did not realize the win at first and started shaking as soon as things become clearer. The winners say that the feeling has not quite settled in yet and they still realize the win.
The couple explained that with the CA$675,000 plan to purchase their first home and now even plan an earlier retirement. Ms. Crossman says that she is still in shock and that she cannot find the suitable words to describe her feeling towards the win, but according to her it is a life-changing and a great feeling.
Record-Breaking B.C. Winner
At the beginning of October, the BCLC revealed that a resident of British Columbia is the next Lotto Max millionaire. The winner is located somewhere in Burnaby and has won the mind-blowing amount of CA$70,000,000. This is by far the biggest lottery win in the province, however, the identity of the winner is yet to be revealed.
One More Winner
Shortly after the record-setting Lotto Max win, the Crown agency informed of another huge lottery winning from the province. The lucky winner is now CA$5.8 million richer after winning half of the Lotto 6/49 jackpot during the Wednesday, October 6 draw of the game. The other half of the major prize was won by a ticket holder residing in Ottawa.
The winning ticket holder from B.C. is yet to contact the Crown agency, as he or she has the hefty amount of CA$5,790,419 to their name. Also, the winning numbers for the draw were 07, 18, 19, 38, 42, 46 for the round and the bonus number was 31. The winner will have 52 weeks to contact the agency and claim their award before expiring.
