The name of the lucky winner is Timothy Lewis who resides in Kentville, N.S. and usually plays Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49, decided to give Set for Life a try.

And when a player obtains the top prize, they have the opportunity to choose between receiving CA$1,000 every week for the next 25 years or getting an instant CA$675,000.
A Life-Changing Prize
The winner, Mr. Lewis, shared how he happened to win the historic Instant Win windfall. The Kentville local said that he was sitting in his recliner after purchasing a Lotto Max ticket online and had a little money left on his alc.ca account. That is why he decided to give another title a try and bought a ticket for the instant win game Set for Life.
On his first ticket, the Nova Scotia local won CA$4 so he decided to get one more. On his second he got CA$8 and continued to play. After buying another one, his phone got an alert that has won a Set for Life top prize. He immediately contacted his wife, Jennifer, to show her the notification and share the amazing news with her.
He said that initially, his wife was skeptical about the major winning and even thought it was a scam. But then Mr. Lewis received emails from the Crown corporation which displayed the ALC logo and the feeling started to finally sink in. He is extremely happy with the life-changing win and most reactions he got were asking him if it was actually real.
Now, with the money, the winners plan to use a portion of them to cover their mortgage and plan an earlier retirement. In addition to that, they also plan to treat themselves with a new SUV. And their children who wanted new iPhones and cars will eventually get their wishes. Mr. Lewis bought the ticket online on alc.ca.
