Loto-Québec Strikes a Deal with Inspired Entertainment

Loto-Québec and Inspire Entertainment have officially taken their long-term partnership to another level. The two sides have signed a content distribution deal, that will make the Crown corporation the first entity to introduce the provider’s iLottery offerings on lotoquebec.com. Soon, Scarab Treasures and Fruit Drop Scatterdrops™ will be two of the first debuted iGaming titles for the province.

Inspired Entertainment is a company that provides gaming, virtual sports, interactive, and leisure services to numerous operators from all around the globe. The company boasts an impressive portfolio of content, technology, hardware, and services for regulated gaming, wagering, and lottery. Its iGaming verticals are currently launched on more than 170 websites from all around the world and in Quebec soon.

New Offerings to Come in 2022

The Crown agency and Inspired Entertainment have been long-term partners as the Crown’s online platform lotoquebec.com has already adopted the developer’s premium Interactive casino content to its online patrons. The platform already offers a great deal of content and the provider will launch Scarab Treasures branded Pharaon reactionMC and Fruit Drop Scatterdrops™ branded Explosion de fruits reaction MC in 2022.

These two iGaming titles will be the first of many that the supplier will be delivered to the Crown corporation via the latest content agreement deal. The content of the website can also be accessed via the official app named Loto-Québec, where players from the province can enjoy all kinds of lottery games. The app is quite handy as winnings are then directly deposited into players’ accounts.

Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Operating Officer at the international gaming provider, says that the company’s entry into the Canadian iLottery market with the Crown agency is a significant milestone for its future development. According to him, the company’s lottery team has plenty of experience in the industry worth over CA$300 billion, and the firm sees the digital lottery sector as one of huge potential.

Anne-Marie Voyer, Director of Lottery Products & Developmentat Loto-Québec also commented on the latest agreement between the two sides. She said that Inspired Entertainment’s online casino products have been quite popular and successful among the Crown’s customers and the agency is now happy to become the first partner of the provider in the local iLottery marketplace.

MÉGA 360 Now Live

Loto-Québec is striving to always provide fresh and innovative content to its many players from the province. In September, the Crown presented its newest lottery concept named MÉGA 360. This is a new offering consisting of three stages, and if participants reach the final state, they are invited to spin a giant real-life wheel for the chance to win immense prizes with the main prize of the grand prize of CA$500,000.

Controversial Tickets

However, not every product of the company is a success, as previously one of its scratch cards stirred the pot and received some major criticism. In July, the Crown introduced ‘Heat Record’ or ‘Record de Chaleur’ scratch-off cards, but the launch and the theme of the tickets coincided with the occurrence of over 300 wildfires in B.C. which resulted in several death cases. The Crown decided to pull off the product from the market to avoid any further controversy.
