BETER Secures Ontario Supplier Registration

BETER-enters-Canadian-market-with-Ontario-supplier-registrationBETER has secured Gaming-Related Supplier Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, allowing the company to enter the Canadian market and supply its proprietary esports and sports content to licensed sportsbooks across the province.

The approval gives Ontario-regulated operators access to BETER’s live streaming and real-time data services, alongside odds covering its portfolio of fast-paced competitions. The available content includes the ESportsBattle eLeagues, the Setka Cup table tennis series and the BSKT Cup basketball league.

BETER identified Ontario as an important stage in its North American expansion. The supplier already has 10 regulatory approvals in the United States and is pursuing another Canadian approval in Alberta.

The company expects Alberta to become the second province in Canada where its content receives regulatory clearance.

Ontario Opens Canadian Market to BETER

With its AGCO registration secured, BETER can begin supplying licensed Ontario sportsbooks with content from its proprietary sports and esports competitions.

The company produces more than 740,000 fast-paced events each year, with its content operating around the clock. Individual events can feature up to 50 betting markets, while BETER reports an average operator margin above 8%.

Its esports offering is built around ESportsBattle. The competition includes eFootball and eBasketball, as well as eHockey and eTennis.

BETER’s sports portfolio includes Setka Cup, its table tennis competition, and the BSKT Cup basketball league. These products form part of the exclusive content that can now be made available to Ontario-licensed operators under the new registration.

Gal Ehrlich, CEO of BETER, described the Ontario approval as part of the company’s wider expansion plans.

“Ontario is an important step in building BETER’s North American business and a significant part of our global growth strategy. Our exclusive content gives operators something they cannot easily find elsewhere, and that differentiation is helping us expand into new regulated markets. Canada offers significant potential, and Ontario gives us a strong foundation from which to build a lasting presence across the country.”

North American Expansion Continues

Ontario represents BETER’s first approved Canadian market as the company continues extending its regulated presence across North America.

Its existing footprint includes 10 regulatory approvals in the US. BETER is now also seeking approval in Alberta as part of its plans to expand further across Canada.

The supplier’s strategy focuses on delivering proprietary competitions with frequent events and extensive betting coverage. Its live content runs 24 hours a day, supporting operators seeking a continuous schedule of sports and esports markets.

Valeriia Tarchynska, Chief Legal Officer at BETER, said the Ontario registration reflects the company’s approach to regulatory requirements as it enters additional jurisdictions.

“Securing our Ontario registration is a significant milestone and reflects BETER’s commitment to meeting the highest regulatory and compliance standards in every market we enter. As we continue expanding across Canada, our focus will remain on sustainable growth, strong regulatory relationships, and maintaining the trust of our partners and stakeholders.”

The Ontario registration therefore adds another regulated jurisdiction to BETER’s North American operations while establishing its first position in Canada.

Integrity Monitoring Supports BETER Events

BETER also places dedicated integrity monitoring behind its proprietary competitions. The company operates an Integrity team that monitors events around the clock and works with sports integrity organisations and federations.

Its partners include the International Betting Integrity Association and the Esports Integrity Commission.

The monitoring framework covers the events used across BETER’s esports and sports products and forms part of the company’s approach to maintaining fair-play standards.

With the AGCO registration now secured, Ontario sportsbooks can access BETER’s content within the province’s regulated market. The supplier will also continue seeking approval in Alberta as it works to extend its Canadian presence beyond Ontario.

The development adds Canada to BETER’s regulated North American footprint and provides another distribution market for ESportsBattle, Setka Cup and BSKT Cup. Its next Canadian milestone will depend on the progress of its Alberta application, which the company expects to result in approval for its content there.
