Gateway Casinos Introduces MATCH Eatery on Wheels

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has most recently announced its newest extension of food and drinks offerings as the company announced two restaurants on wheels. The new vehicles will offer the company’s fan-favorite MATCH Eatery & Public House brand with the first truck traveling around British Columbia and the second one in Ontario.

 

The new trucks will be named “Match of the Move” and both will offer favorite items from the menu of the company’s diner. Individuals can enjoy Fish N’ Chips tacos, The Whole Hog pork belly sandwich, a Market Chicken salad and there is the Orange Creamsicle Float and S’mores Fries for the ones with a sweet tooth.

Now on Wheels

 

The first “Match of the Move” truck will be operating in British Columbia and it will mainly patrol in Lower Mainland. The second food vehicle will be in Ontario and it will travel around mainly in the southwest region of the province. The company informs that the restaurants on wheels are available for booking for private parties, community events, and fundraisers.

Todd Pollock who is Vice President of Food & Beverage for the gaming conglomerate said that the company is really excited to expand its popular MATCH Eatery & Public House brand across the two provinces. Mr. Pollock revealed that the company is looking to link the truck’s activity with its community groups and charity organizations to support their fundraising activities starting with their national partners Make-A-Wish Canada.

Langley City Mayor Val van den Broek has also commented on the topics of the new trucks. He stated that the city is thankful for its relationship with the gaming company and that it is great to see that they continue to invest in the city. The mayor also congratulated the corporation on their new trucks and he is looking forward to seeing locals enjoy their exceptional food and beverage services.

The company’s community and charity program GatewayGIVES will host a fundraising event for Make-A-Wish Canada. The organization is the official partner of GatewayGIVES, and during the months of July and August every time a Hero Burger is purchased by a customer, a donation will be made to the organization’s Wish Heroes Campaign. The gaming company will match all donations up to CA$2,000, ergo CA$1,000 per truck.

Ontario Casino Relaunch

Previously, the gaming corporation provided more great news to its many customers in Ontario. After a year and a half, the company will be restarting operations of its Casino Rama in the province. The gaming property is on schedule to reopen on Thursday, July 29, 2021, and patrons will be able to enjoy table and slot games. Visitors can also dine at the property’s Simcoe Yard House.

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has already relaunched operations at most of its Ontario gaming properties. Previously, the company restarted business hours at its Gateway Casinos Innisfil. The venue reopened on July 16, 2021, and now offers table games and slots to its visitors. The Express Bar at the property also reopened doors this month and is now offering full food and drinks amenities.
