Lotto Max Jackpot CA$36 Million Unclaimed

Last week’s Lotto Max prize remains unclaimed once again as no winning tickets were sold for the jackpot. The prize has already reached the impressive amount of CA$36,000,000, unfortunately, no ticket holder from the country has managed to grab it. However, players should not get discouraged as tonight they will have another chance at the main prize at an even bigger amount.

Lotto Max is the most popular and the most rewarding draw-based game in Canada, as the jackpot can reach the whooping amount of CA$70,000,000. Each week there are two draws for the game, one on Tuesday and the other one on Friday, and tickets for the game are available in both physical and digital form depending on one’s location.

The Main Prize Grows Bigger

The Crown corporation reported that there were no winning tickets sold for the last draw of the game on Friday, July 16, 2021. This means that the jackpot will grow even bigger for tonight’s draw of Lotto Max. The main prize now amounts to the staggering amount of CA43 million. And whether it will be won this time, remains to be seen.

Once the jackpot of the game reaches the CA$50 million mark, there are also different amounts of Maxmillion prizes that can be won by players. Each reward is worth exactly CA$1,000,000. This has been the case for Adassa Elliston, a regular lotto player that registered her first major win by claiming a Maxmillion prize not long ago.

Ms. Elliston from Vaughan is now CA$1,000,000 richer thanks to the Lotto Max Maxmillion draw on June 15, as her ticket was drawn as the single winner of the prize. After arriving at a Crown corporation office to claim her prize, Ms. Elliston explained that she picked her numbers randomly and her luck has finally paid off.

The ticket holder has purchased her entry to the game Petro Canada on Bathurst St. in Richmond Hill. The winner was on her way to work when she stopped at the store to check about potential winnings. She explained that she could not believe it at first and had to double-check the ticket before realizing what has actually happened.

More Winners

Previously, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation revealed the identity of the last Lotto Max winner as he claimed his cheque. Thanks to the draw-based game, the former member of military Jansen Ng from East Gwillimbury is now significantly richer with his CA$65 million prize. His ticket popped up as the winning one in the July 6 draw, and he plans to spend most of the money in support of charities and help out fellow veterans.

Another recent Lotto Max millionaire from the country is Gary Hill from British Columbia. Mr. Hill is one of the two lucky lotto players that were drawn as the winners of the CA$70 million jackpot in the June 22 draw. The semi-retired truck driver from Kamloops will still pocket an enormous award worth CA$35 million. The winning numbers for the draw were 07, 11, 22, 28, 33, 44, and 49, and the bonus number was 10.
