In the meantime, Woodbine Racetrack is bracing for the Queen’s Plate this summer and a favorite has been highlighted – Malibu Mambo.
Horse racing and wagering on it are among the main highlights of the warmer months in Ontario and this is evident by the high popularity both racetracks have. The Thoroughbred and the Standardbred one continue attracting individuals making their way there driven by the desire to spend quality time with their friends and family while also enjoying live horse racing.
The added factor of possibly winning big is also an attractive feature of the live events both for the viewers and for the horse owners racing in them. Mohawk Million is considered being one of the special events in this 2020 live schedule at Woodbine Mohawk Park, as it is about to bring CA$1,000,000 with itself. This explains why the first payment for reserving a slot amounts to CA$55,000.
Now it has been confirmed that all nine slots open for registration have been reserved and the horse owners willing to become part of this race have paid the mandatory payment. February 18 saw the deadline for registration and a special prompt by Woodbine Entertainment seeking horses ready to race at the end of September 2020. The first installment for this premium race amounts to US$55,000 and it was supposed to be completed by February 18.

He expressed his gratitude on behalf of the board of directors, as well as the viewers that would watch everything on the premises of Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The ultimate number of individuals willing to enter the race is going to be issued by the end of February. In the meantime, Woodbine Racetrack is also preparing for an intriguing summer, as it is about to see the 161st edition of the widely popular Queen’s Plate, part of the Canadian Triple Crown bonanza. The CA$1,000,000 premium Thoroughbred racing event is scheduled to take place on June 27 and transform Toronto and the area.
