Rideau Carleton Casino Set to Restart Operations

 

Rideau Carleton Casino is set to reopen its doors for patrons as Ontario has officially entered Stage 3 of the economic restart plan. The casino property in Ottawa which will be transformed into a Hard Rock Casino in the near future is set the restart business hours in August. However, similarly to other casinos in the province, the property will also operate in a limited capacity.

Casino facilities in Ontario were closed down back in April due to concerns about rising cases of the unprecedented situation in the province. As the province has now entered Step 3 of the government reopening plan, gaming entities can also reopen to 50% of their maximum capacity. Guest will have to comply with social distancing rules and wear protective masks.

Restart Plan

Management of the Rideau Carleton Casino announced that the property will take a phased approach in its reopening process. According to information from the gaming venue, the first phase is on schedule to be concluded as late as August 16, 2021. The casino’s sister property Rideau Carleton Raceway is already operational and hosts live racing events to live audiences.

The property is well-prepared for the imminent reopening, and it has introduced the mandatory health and safety protocols in place. There are plexiglass barriers installed to separate players from each other or from the staff. The guests of the facility must also always wear a protective face mask and maintain physical distance from each other.

General Manager of the casino property Helen MacMillan explained that Ontario is on its way to a full reopening of business. The manager continued by saying that the casino is working very hard on bringing back team members and guests and providing them with a safe and sound environment for gaming.

Niagara Casinos Reopening

Two more gaming spots in Ontario are on their course of reopening too. Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara. The official reopening for both venues will be on July 23, 2021, at 10 a.m. Fallsview Casino Resort will work 24/7 and it will provide its customers with hospitality offerings, gaming floor, slots, electronic table games, and the Galleria shops and dining services will reopen too.

Starting from this Friday Casino Niagara will be operating from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m. on a daily basis. The gaming entity will provide its cherished customers with slots, electronic table games. The property’s Perks Café and The Chill Bar will also restart operations. However, the poker room and table games will not be available yet.

One More Big Reopening

After nearly a year and a half of being closed down Casino Rama in Ontario will finally restart business hours this month. The gaming establishment is on schedule to make its grand reopening on July 29, 2021. Visitors will not be required to make a reservation, as the casino will launch its table games and slot machines for playing. The Simcoe Yard House will also offer dining possibilities.
