Espanola Local Wins Big Through JackpotCity Casino

Last month, iGaming Ontario, a subsidiary of AGCO, released its financial numbers for the second quarter of 2023-2024. During Q2, or the period between July 1, 2023, through September 30, 2023, operators in the province’s sector recorded a betting handle of CA$14.2 billion. This was an amazing 132% increase over the Q2 of last year but it does not include promotional bonuses.

iGaming Ontario reported that in Q2 total gaming revenue eclipsed CA$540 million or a 105% increase over Q2 of the previous FY. These figures include total cash bets, including rake fees, tournament fees, and other fees recorded by all licensed operators in the province. By the end of the quarter, there were 47 operators and 71 gaming websites up and running.

Meanwhile, even more operators are joining the regulated sector making it even more competitive. In October 2023, mkodo’s GeoLocs was selected as a geolocation provider for The Six Gaming and facilitated its launch in the province. The agreement will see GeoLocs deliver its geolocation verification solution to the brand, making sure it is compliant with all provincial standards.
