Great Canadian Entertainment announced that The Hotel at its new CA$1-billion Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is now open to the public. The new amenity combines modernity, comfort, and excitement while being just minutes away from Toronto Pearson International Airport. There are 400 first-class rooms almost half of them having views of the nearby Woodbine Racetrack.
After opening on June 20, 2023, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is now the largest gaming amenity across Canada. With a gaming space of approximately 328,000 square feet, the property features tons of gambling options, as there are over 4,800 slots, 145 live table games, VIP rooms, sports betting kiosks, and soon a Poker Room.
Reservations are Open
Great Canadian Entertainment explained that The Hotel at the resort comes with 400 well-appointed guest rooms and almost half of them come with exceptional views of the iconic Woodbine Racetrack. Each of the rooms is quite spacious as they vary from 400 square feet to 840 square feet and feature several accessible rooms and suites, suitable for all kinds of needs.
Premium rooms and suite packages include Premium King, Premium Two Queen, Premium Accessible King or Two Queen, King Corner Suite, Two Bedroom Suite, and Accessible King Suite. Each room comes with plenty of amenities including a 55” Smart TV, in-room safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker, providing convenience for its guests.
The hotel also offers a completely indulgent experience for those who seek it, as there are prestige suites equipped with a number of additional features. On top of the already mentioned amenities, these rooms also include a separate living room, a fully stacked bar unit including a fridge and microwave, and larger bathrooms. There are also accessible suites as well as accessible rooms.
But that is not all, as soon The Hotel is set to launch its wellness area. This dedicated space will include a state-of-the-art fitness centre with the latest equipment, and a wet area with an indoor pool, a hot tub, and a steam room. It should open in the upcoming weeks. Meanwhile, those who wish to make a reservation for the hotel can do it via the operator’s official website.
The resort is also set to launch its Poker Room, which should happen sometime during the summer season. This premium amenity will offer 30 tables on a completely private floor with electronic table games and slots available. There will also be ‘No Limit’ and ‘Limit’ stakes at different levels to fit everyone’s playing style and set the tone for a thrilling experience.
Initial Feedback from Guests
However, some of the patrons of Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto are not impressed with the CA$1 billion facility as they shared their initial feedback. One of the guests, Jeff, who visited the gaming resort in July, commented that the property was still mostly under construction. Meanwhile, others are not pleased with table limits, as some tables have pretty steep minimum bets.
