Poker and gambling fanatics are in for a treat this year, as the World Poker Tour returns in its digital form. This year’s edition will consist of numerous other tournaments and the WPTDeepStacks in one of them. The event will be available for poker players on PartyPoker’s online platform.
The WPT is an annual event that consists of numerous poker tournaments. Every year hundreds of gaming enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to it in order to participate and compete against the best poker players from the whole world. Considering the new world order of social distancing this year the tour returns with the special WPDDeepStacks event which will be held online.
Official Schedule
Poker fans will be able to enjoy the WPTDeepStacks for a big part of July as the event starts on July 2 all the way to the 21st. The first tournament is scheduled for July 3, and its name is WPTDeepStacks Online Mini Main Event. Poker enthusiasts must be aware that the event starts at 7:05 p.m. and it will be played out to around 11:10 p.m. and it has a US$300+30 buy-in.
The first day of the tournament will actually take place on three different dates. 1B will be on the next day of July 4 also from 7:05 p.m. until 11:10 p.m. and the third part 3C will be on Monday, July 5. However, the third portion of Day 1 of the mini-event will start earlier at 3:05 p.m.
Day 2 and 3 of the WPTDeepStacks Online Mini Main Event will start respectively on July 5 at 7:05 p.m. and the other one on the next day July 6 at 7:05 p.m. as well. And on July 7 will be the conclusion of the mini-event and its winner will be determined after the start of 7:05 p.m.
Main Event
After a brief pause, the three-day WPTDeepStacks Online Main Event will take place on July 11. Similarly, Day 1 will be spread out to three days as the first edition of Day 1 A1 begins at 7:05 p.m. on the same date. Buy-ins are estimated to US$1,500+150, and there will be one re-entry for players who participate in Day 1. Day 1B and 1C will be held on July 18 and 19.
Additionally, July 19 will officially begin Day 2 of the main event, Day 3 will closely follow it on the next day of July 20. Both tournaments will start at 7:05 p.m. And finally, Wednesday, July 21, is the final day of the main event. Players will be able to participate in it at exactly 7:05 p.m.
WPT Montreal 2021
In spite of the new social distancing reality WPT Montreal still took place this year as it was hosted online. The gala poker tour Started on January 17 all the way through February 1, 2021. Keen poker player had the possibility of winning major prizes as the Main Event had a CA$2,000,000 prize pool and a CA$3,200 buy-in.
Another eye-catching event was the Omaha Knockout with a CA$50,000 guaranteed prize pool. The exciting event took place on January 20, 2021, players participating in the event had CA$500+30 buy-in conditions. Starting hour of the tournament was at the usual 7:05 p.m. Later that day at 10:05 p.m. was the 6-Max Turbo event with CA$$20,000 in prizes.
