On Wednesday, the tournament rewarded two event winners more than €2 million in cash prizes, cementing its position as one of the most generous live poker series in history.

Wednesday, April 11, was a busy day at Casino Barcelona which saw the finals of two exciting events, namely the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final €2,700 Warm Up and the €101,000 Super High Roller. Canadian player Matan Bakrat, a 25-year-old IT student, won his first ever live tournament when he took down the Warm Up trophy for €355,000.

Bakrat managed to survive until the end, overtaking competition of 749 entries who contributed to the overall prize pool of €1,816,325. Twenty players started the final day, but only nine made it to the final table where eventually, Bakrat faced Polish player Bartlomiej Machon in a heads-up battle for the title. In the final hand, a full house determined the winner and Machon left with €265,000, while Bakrat took home the trophy and a cash prize of €355,000.

The second final brought even larger prizes, excitement and rivalry among players as it had a colossal prize pool of €4,656,000.
