Recently, ALC shared its concerns regarding the more and more prevalent online gambling ads across the country and the Atlantic region. This was in connection to two large banners of Bet99 at a YQM Country Festival in New Brunswick. The Ontario operatorā€™s activity in the province is unlawful, and many locals are not aware of it when playing on the site.

Earlier in the summer, the Atlantic Lottery helped Newfoundland and Labrador launch its first regulated platform for iGaming. The digital casino offerings in the province are available via ALCā€™s website. Newfoundland and Labrador is the only Canadian jurisdiction where there are no land-based casinos, but now its residents can enjoy iGaming from the comfort of their homes.
