On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, Pollard Banknote issues its second important press release for the week. The lottery partner announced that it has inked a joint venture operating agreement with respect to NeoPollard Interactive and altered the parties’ Michigan Joint Venture Agreement with NeoGames S.A. The agreements cement the continued success of NPI and its market-leading partners.
Established in 1907 and based in Manitoba, Pollard Banknote supplies more than 60 lotteries around the world with top-notch instant tickets, licensed games, in-lane ticket options, and more. The provider also delivers pull-tab tickets, bingo paper, ticket vending machines, and its Diamond Game and Compliant Gaming electronic games and devices to charitable and other gaming markets in North America.
Joint Venture Contract
In its press release, the Manitoba company stated that the terms of the new agreement will solidify the continued success of NPI as well as the operations of its market-leading customers. Also, the new agreement will allow the lottery provider and NeoGames the opportunity to pursue future iLottery prospects in the North American market via partnerships, joint ventures, or individually.
Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Manitoban company, Doug Pollard, noted that NPI has been the leader in the North American online lottery market since its debut ten years ago. According to him, the brand continues to create significant value for its lottery clients. That is why is pleased to further commit to the NPI join customers and is now looking forward to continuing the long-term success.
He continued by saying that the inking of the new agreements will underline the strong bond the company has with NeoGame throughout the growth of NPI and the level of commitment their team brings to the provider’s interactive lottery partners. He explained that the new contract enables flexibility for both joint venture parties to pursue further iLottery opportunities.
Despite the signing of the new joint venture agreement, the press release stated that the operations of NeoPollard Interactive will remain the same. This means that the NPI team of experts will continue to provide industry-leading player operations support, account management, and other professional services to its many lottery partners through the North American markets.
Busy at the Start of 2023
Despite being this early in 2023, Pollard Banknote has already announced several important milestones for the new year. Most recently, the provider celebrated Loto-Québec’s launch of the new Boréal instant ticket series, which is inspired by local wildlife. The company also announced that it has partnered up with Norway’s national lottery, Norsk Tipping for the next three years.
It can be recalled that in November 2022, the lottery partner also debuted its brand-new ticket Ticket to Ride™, which as the title suggests is themed after the popular board game. This was possible after joining efforts with Asmodee Entertainment. The lottery provider commented that the board game tickets have been quite a hit among its players.
