The beautiful city of Barcelona is now hosting one of the world’s most prestigious poker tournaments, the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final which attracts thousands of poker pros and offers €23 million in guarantees. The €1,100 Buy-in Finale, which is one of the events at the Grand Final, launches today, Friday the 13th. Instead of staying home and believing in superstitions, however, all poker players are now eying the tournament as it comes with a guaranteed prize pool of €1 million.
The €1,100 Buy-in Finale starts Friday and will run through Sunday alongside the €10,300 High Roller and the series’ exciting Main Event where players have the opportunity to win a portion of the massive €10 million guarantee. The Finale has four starting flights, with Day 1A and Day 1B running on Friday and Day 1C and D being held on Saturday. After paying the €1,100 entry, players start with 1,000,000 in chips and go through the sixteen 30-minute levels. They are allowed to re-enter an unlimited number of times in each of the flights. Play starts with a small blind of 5,000, a big blind of 10,000, and a button ante of 5,000.
The Final Day begins Sunday, April 15, and will see all those who qualified in a previous couple of days compete against each other until the winner comes out victorious. He or she will receive the trophy and the first place prize, which is expected to be in the five-figure range or more. While most poker pros are now taking part or wishing of having taken part in the series, there are some who engage in special rituals for luck. 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona
The enormously successful MILLIONS tour is nearing its end with the Grand Final hosted April 7 – April 15 by Casino Barcelona near the Mediterranean beach.
