Greektown Casino-Hotel in Detroit Commences Rebranding Campaign

JACK Entertainment LLC, known to be the owner of Greektown Casino-Hotel in Detroit, announced that the entertaining complex is nearing the finishing line regarding its rebranding campaign. The new name is set to officially occur on 1st May 2018, when the old sign will be replaced by the new one, boosting the new name. Last year, the operator shared its decision to change the name of the casino resort into JACK Detroit Casino-Hotel. Now it seems that the process is under its way and the entire building is undergoing a multi-million renovation as part of a revamp program.

About Greektown Casino-Hotel

Greektown Casino-Hotel, which soon will be officially renamed, is one of the 3 casino resort hotels in the city. The complex opened doors as far back as 2000 and it did not take long until it became one of the jewels of the city. The Greektownā€™s gaming floor occupies 100,000 square feet. It features a number of table games, around 3,000 slot machines. The casino also includes a live poker room with 12 tables. As for the non-gambling options, the complex offers a number of bars and restaurants, as well as 400 hotel rooms.

Greektownā€™s Rebranding Project in Details

Aiming to keep on appealing the attention of its players and reflect the companyā€™s core attributes and capabilities, the operator announced its decision to rename the complex. It is interesting to note that that the choice of the new name is not by chance. JACK Entertainment, known to be owned by the billionaire businessman Dan Gilbert, also operates JACK Cleveland Casino, JACK Cincinnati Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino, a racetrack facility. The plan is to unite all the companyā€™s gambling venues under one brand. In fact, the entire renaming process started with the rebranding of the operator, which was previously known as Rock Gaming. Adopting the new name, gave the starting shot of the rebranding campaign, targeting all the JACK Entertainment-owned gambling venues.

The process of rebranding includesthe installation of 1,500 signs inside and outside the complex. Apart from the new signs, on 30th September a huge sign is expected to be installed on the 30th top floor of the building, spanning the size of the entire floor. The new sign will boost the new name of the casino resort, and more precisely ā€œJACK Detroit Casino-Hotelā€.

The project obviously aims to completely remodel the resortā€™s public image, as the operator is to invest heavily in an interior renovation. The operator plans to emphasise not only on the gambling activities, but also on various non-gambling entertainments. It was announced that the casino will see the opening of new bars and dining areas. It seems that the casino operator is on the right track with rebuilding its business because to offer diversity and innovation to players is a guarantee of success.
