DeepStacks Poker Tour Championship Season 5 Rapidly Approaches Calgary

Premium poker festivals around the globe are among the preferred congregations for poker enthusiasts from near and far, but those traveling around the globe are among the most riveting ones. Next Thursday will be a special one for the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino located in Calgary, as it is set to welcome the DeepStacks Poker Tour Championship Season 5 once again providing all players with the chance to claim some of its generous prizes.

Over the span of several weeks, the casino venue is set to be transformed into a battle arena for players willing to showcase their true poker potential. Starting November 22 they will have the chance to enter some of the exciting poker tournaments featured in the rich schedule of the poker festival. The first satellite event providing seats to Event 1 on Friday and Event 4 on Monday will commence at 6 p.m. featuring a buy-in of CA$200.

Poker Tournaments Galore

The first tournament No-Limit Hold’em CA$550 BB Ante that starts next Friday will be a multiple-day one, featuring as many as two starting flights. It is projected to welcome quite the crowd as it is the opening event of this poker festival. It features a guaranteed prize pool of CA$100,000 which would make it even more appealing.

Following the heated Friday and Saturday action on the felt, Sunday is set to increase the temperature with the first out of four Main Event Satellites featuring a buy-in of CA$300. The aforementioned Event 4 is going to be another preferred poker challenge for players, as it comes with a guaranteed prize pool of CA$50,000. This $330 BB Ante tournament will come with two starting flights on Monday and Tuesday.

Due to the projected big interest towards, the overall prize pool could easily surpass the originally announced one. Its official Final Table will take place on November 28 crowning one skillful payer for their skills. Next Wednesday is also set to launch the single-day Event 6 No-Limit Hold’em DeepStack Quickie featuring a mandatory buy-in of CA$400, providing players with fast-paced action on the felt.

Main Eevnt Brings a CA$1-Million Guarantee

Once this event is over it is safe to say that the real poker tournaments will commence, starting with DSPT Championship Mega Satellite one with a buy-in of CA$400 and a guaranteed prize pool of CA$30,000. This is how the festival will reach its culminating point with the Championship Main Event featuring the breathtaking CA$1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players will be able to register for participation in it via a buy-in amounting to CA$2,500.

Coming with two starting flights this premium tournament will be able to attract a crowd over two days and reunite all survivors once again on Day 2 on December 2. Once their number has been reduced, the following day will see the coveted Final Table which is set to grant its skillful winner with the eyed by many DeepStacks trophy.
